Every once in awhile, something very special comes in but is sadly in a state of disrepair. These fabulous Victorian earrings came to us needing to be resurrected. The original components are 12k gold with black enameling and onyx. The enameling has a little bit of damage from age. The drops were missing pieces and the original earring tops were screw back clip ons. We added garnet briolette beads to complete the dangle section and then, we couldn't help ourselves... we added bat tops to the earrings. The bat top is 14k gold with post backs for pierced ears. We added some black enamel to the bats as well to compliment the original earring. The earrings are 2 and 1/8 inches long. It's safe to say, there will never be another pair of earrings exactly like these.
